Where do you source your materials?

Barns, auctions, yard sales, and garage sales. We’ve even been known to stop and ask local farmers if they'd be willing to sell a piece of equipment we spotted in a field. 

How do you choose your materials?

We select materials for their "possibilities” and their energy, without always knowing what a particular item will be used for. However, we know when we have to have it.

Materials can sit in a corner for months when suddenly they "find" each other. 

Why do you create functional art?

As Trove’s founder Van Stowell says, “Some people like to sing and others dance; I have always liked to work with my hands; it makes me happy.”

How do I care for my product?

There is no "one size fits all" for product care. A few items are intended for the outdoors; most are intended for indoor use.  As a general rule, woods and fabrics should not be placed in direct sunlight.  Woods should be dusted and may be cleaned with a damp cloth.  Metals should be cleaned periodically with mild soap and water, then rinsed and dried thoroughly.

What is your shipping policy?

We ship both domestically and internationally, subject to the shipping and handling policy described herein.

Shipping Charges

When we ship to you or per your directions to another person, you agree to pay the shipping and any handling charges shown on this Site, or, when not shown on this Site, those agreed upon during your communications with us, when your order is placed.

Upon our receipt of your submission, which will include the shipping location, we will determine the shipping and handling costs, if any, for the selected item(s) and respond to you. If you wish to incur those charges, they will be added to the price of the item(s). Alternatively, you may elect to pick-up the item(s) to avoid any additional shipping and handling charges.

What is your return policy?

Once an item of merchandise is delivered to you, you can return that item within 30 days of delivery. To be eligible for a return, your merchandise must be unused and in the same condition that you received it and must be in the original packaging.  

Shipping

To initiate a return, please email us at info@trove-upcycling.com.  We will provide an address where the merchandise should be sent.  We require a receipt or proof of purchase to accompany your return.

You are responsible for paying for all shipping costs for your returned item. Shipping costs are non-refundable. If you receive a refund, the cost of any return shipping will be deducted from your refund. You should consider using a trackable shipping service or purchasing shipping insurance for items of value.

Refunds and Exchanges

After We have received your valid return, We will send you an email to notify you that We have received your returned item and notify you of the acceptance or rejection of your return.

If your return is accepted by us, We will provide one of the following within a reasonable time: an exchange of merchandise for the item returned, a non-transferable merchandise credit, a credit to the payment card or original method of payment used to pay for the item, a check, or another remedy that we determine in good faith is appropriate in the circumstances.

General

If you do not comply with any of the above conditions, We reserve the right to refuse the return or exchange, or to impose different or additional conditions.
